Why CareWeave exists
One readable screen for a whole medical story
About twenty people care for our son: specialists, nurses, home health agencies, insurers, case managers and medical suppliers. Each holds part of his story. None could see all of it.
He has been through four rejection episodes. Looking back, each one had a clear onset trend in his data, spread across different systems and different visits. No one caught it, and not because anyone failed at their job. No one had the whole picture in front of them.
I am not a doctor, and I did not need to be. I needed one readable screen that held his entire medical story. When his care team had it in front of them, they did what they do best.
There was a second problem. As a father of two, my time belongs to my children. Instead it went to phone tag, records-release requests, and answering one provider's questions with what another provider already had. I was caring for the care team.
His records are his, and ours to share as his parents: when, where and with whom we decide. So we built CareWeave.
